They come for a present…the excitement of ripping the paper off to see what’s inside. Perhaps a doll or a truck or a video game. We are glad they like the gifts, but we give the present so they will hear the Christmas story. People are more open to the Gospel at Christmas than any other time of the year. 72,204 smiles mean that 72,204 children were given the opportunity to receive Jesus into their heart. They come for a present, but they learn about the greatest gift ever given.

This Christmas has been our most special yet!

So many children in the inner city feel the impact of poverty on a daily basis. This is especially true at Christmas time when many parents cannot afford to provide gifts to their children. Young children often don't understand this and interpret their lack of gifts as an indication that they are not loved or not special enough to receive a gift on Christmas.
