Teen Mania visits Metro

 For the second year Teen Mania has sent teens to Brooklyn NY, to minister alongside Metro staff. Not because they are looking for a fancy holiday, but because they want to be used by God! The Boot Camp department of Metro organizes a 'custom-made' Boot Camp week, to facilitate Teen Mania. Every other week of the year people can come and be part of similar experiences in our regular Boot Camp training.
Here is a small testimony of a 'Teen-Manian'

Block party in the Bronx was amazing. 200 plus children and lots of parents and grandparents. The team all had fun ministering to the children, getting wet, sweating in a custom, playing games, painting faces, making things out of balloons, and talking about Jesus. We head back there in the morning. Our ministry partner is very excited about us going back to the same place, as we are to meet and hang out with our new friends. Everyone did great from Brittany painting faces, to Ashley pouring lemonade, and Gabe hamming it out in a clown outfit. What a team. Cody and "Red" took turns in a gorilla outfit while Ben and Jose played Basketball.
Tomorrow will be along day there. Tonight they finished the day off with two more hours of training to get ready for tomorrow and church on Sunday when the team will minister to the church.
